So umm yeah where is that calender.

Just wondering where this new calender is we were promised. Seems to have been quietly covered up.

Well, Best Buy didn't get the memo, lol....it's still in their sale ads...

Last word on this is it is scheduled for 12/4....this year...along with some other fixes to go with it....gonna be a good week I hope:smileywink:

I hope this calender has more options. The camera needs more options too. The camera actually takes really good pics and video in bright light.

My 30 days are up on the 3rd of Dec.........  Does anyone have any idea what will be the changes for the calender?

On 12/4, the email application is planned for an upgrade which will allow you to synch your Outlook calendar with the Instinct.

That's a tentative date and could, therefore, change.  What is upsetting is that the Best Buy ad is capitalizing on something currently not available.  Even the photo shown has a screen shot of the "calendar."

I was under the impression that the update will enable you to sync your "exchange" calendar with the instinct.  Will it also, allow you to sync your "home" (pop email) calendar?

Pop email has nothing to do with calendars. Your question might make sense if it mentioned some standard for doing a calendar sync - but even then no one here is going to know the answer.  My company has exchange with owa access, so I'll be happy if that works (but surprised if it can handle the number of events in my calendar...).

i do understand that pop email has nothing to do with calendars, however, my question is about any non-exchange calendar sync.

So far nothing I have seen has indicated that it would do anything but exchange/owa, but the question doesn't even make sense unless you specify the protocol or specific calendar you are interested in.   If you aren't already using a group calendar at work, you can use whichever of the free google or yahoo services works better with what you have and offers SMS notification for alerts.

Ha.  I saw this reading the Best Buy ad for this week while waiting in the returns line.  If this is true I'm going to be so happy.  I wish there would be a way to sync with Google Calendar but I'll take this anyday.
