Did you already find the working versions of opera, gmail, google maps, and nimbuzz?

What's a better hack than the ability to run 3rd party code?   I would like an explanation or pointer to documentation about that mod someone posted to give opera (etc.) access to the filesystem, though.

Use bitpim, edit policy.txt......but that will void your warranty and may violate service term with sprint. High risk of permenatly locking up your phone, so if it doesn't work, your on your own.

The policy.txt hack lets you download pictures on opera to your memory card. You can take wallpaper from a website and put it straight to the saved section of your pictures. There is some other things you can do with bluetooth check out instinct-samsung.com they know more over there

Have you tried this,

Goto dialer  type in ##3282#

Goto Multimedia

Goto Edit

It will ask for your MSL here

Goto Buffer Length Set It to 20 - ok

It will take you back to the Multimedia Edit screen

 You can also try this and see if it helps, By doing this it may make it so you are unable to view news videos in the news APP.You can try and both and see what works for you.

Goto MMG

Set IP at all Zeros - ok

Set port at all zeros - Done

Your phone will reset.

You can call *2 to get your MSL Code

Levi, didn't someone on the forum say that the MMG IP and port reset themselves back to the default values eventually?
