Music Player Suggestion....
The music player in the instinct is good,not great but good enough to use. After a certiain update we were allowed to use the volume buttons while listening to music even though the screen was off.. nice! On a future update i'd like to see the "talk" and "camera" button to allow for us to forward or go back a song WITH THE SCREEN OFF. I'ts kinda frustrating to have to turn the screen on to change tracks when i like to keep the screen off to conserve battery. Plus i always have it set on "shuffle" Anyone else agree that this would be a useful feature??Message Edited by WestSiide on 12-01-2008 01:38 PM

I'd worry about skipping tracks by mistake when the phone is in my pocket.
Plus, I don't use the shuffle at all. I just listen to full CDs, or custom playlists.
I pretty much listen to whatever is on my phone. I put it there, so I know I like it. ;) heheh
Posted by: suitcasejohnny 1 month agoWhen the phone is in your pocket does it ever accidentally volume up or down? Probably not. Mine doesnt. The physical buttons arent very easily depressed. Posted by: WestSiide 1 month agoI use my Instinct as my workout mp3 player, and this morning as I was holding down Power for 2 seconds just to skip a songthat was a little too slow for that stage of my workout, I had the same thought. If the Browser can make use of those buttons, surely the music player can too? Please?

No, I don't have an issue with it changing the volume at all when it's in my pocket.
I think the touch screen buttons are a bit more sensitive though.
